Youths Volunteering for Sustainable Development – Zimbabwe
Mr. Tapiwa Mukucha is a Zimbabwean currently studying Local Governance at a local University in Zimbabwe. He joined YOVSUD in attempt to be armed with various leadership bullets which enables him to promote his career development and also be able to influence his fellow African peers.
Since joining, he have undertaken several Peacebuilding and youth capacity building initiatives. He is a passionate individual who believes volunteering is the best way to foster peace and achieve the SDGs.

August 12 of every year is celebrated as International Youth Day across Africa and the world. This year celebration comes with the theme “Youth Building Peace”.
International Youth Day 2017 is dedicated to celebrating young people’s contributions to conflict prevention and transformation as well as inclusion, social justice, and sustainable peace.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development committed to fostering peaceful and inclusive societies and affirmed that “Sustainable development cannot be realized without peace and security”.
Youths Volunteering for Sustainable Development(YOVSUD) and Pro-Volunteer a youth-based volunteer groups have partner to honor the following individuals for their tirelessly and endless contribution towards fostering peace and development across Africa and the world.
